In Philipp Stölzl‘s („Nordwand“) aktuellem Kinofilm „Goethe!“ (Senator Film/deutschfilm) spielt Vitus Wieser an der Seite von Alexander Fehling, Volker Bruch, Johann Jürgens & Moritz Bleibtreu den Referendar Borgmann am Kammergericht zu Wetzlar und macht dem jungen Johann von Goethe das Leben definitiv nicht leichter.
